The dinner was exceptional.
Breakfast could have been better or at least have warm eggs!

Very pleasant and exceptional staff in their efforts to make a go of this and well furnished rooms with the most comfortable bed. Location right by the stunning town of Beaune. Plus, 15 minutes drive from La croix de Creteuil.

My son (10) and I were looking for a country stop on our way to the South of France. Location just south of Beaune was convenient. The setting is indeed lovely and very restful. Cars are parked within the grounds and gates are locked at night.
The Hostellerie boasts a gastronomic restaurant, the kitchen however closes at 8:30pm and arriving at 9pm was too late for a hot meal. Breakfast also offers no hot options. The decoration and comfort have seen better days.

It was an excellent experience to stay in a castle. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was awesome - you have to try it at least once regardless the price. Also I recommend to visit a restaurant in Chagny "Le Grenier à Sel". It offers typical French cuisine in a lovely atmosphere, it is inexpensive and located just in 1.5-2 km from the hotel. In 10km you can visit Château de Meursault to taste and buy Burgundy wine (free entrance ticket on the hotel reception).
Shower is a bit not proper.

The setting was pleasant and architecture interesting.
It was disappointing to find the restaurant closed on a Wednesday evening and no viable alternative within easy walking distance.

Good location in Burgundy. Beautiful chateau with outside seating area. Good restaurant.
Quite close to the main road so not completely quiet. No proper shower. Breakfast was disappointing with processed cheese and cold toasted bread and no scrambled or fried eggs. Limited fruit. Had to pay to see the chapel, which should have been included for guests.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel nestled in a tranquil countryside setting. The value for money was exceptional, particularly with the special offer that included a delicious breakfast and dinner at a very reasonable price. The staff were sincerely friendly and provided excellent service, making me feel truly welcome. The room itself was clean and surprisingly spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed. I was also delighted to discover that the bathroom was located in the turret of the chateau, adding a unique touch to the overall experience.
All was well, no improvements needed.

The castle is a lovely idea. Beautiful grounds and dining room. Nothing to do at the property itself if the pool isn't open. Chagny is a cute town nearby and well worth the drive. Pubs and bakeries there, as well as a great restaurant "Le Grenier A Sel", which offers typical Frency cuisine (ie: fondue) in a lovely atmosphere. Not crazily expensive....good value.
Simple rooms. Nothing really to do, although the grouns are lovely.

The only thing we liked was the building. The Chateau is absolutely beautfiul and has been well restored outside.
We thought the hotel was dreadful. There is no proper reception so by mistake I walked straight into the dining room full of diners. The reception is in a sort of cubbyhole. The staff were unhelpful and quite rude. The room was awful, terrible furnishings and the beds were appalling. The noise from the very busy main road into Dijon went on all night. Breakfast was really poor for 15 euros. The swimmingpool was dirty. The whole experience was extremly bad.
